God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 1 – Day 5
Do you have your life planned out? Maybe you have a five-year plan or a list of goals. There is nothing wrong with aspirations or desires, but we should always hold them with an open hand.
God can do far beyond what we ask or think. Our finite minds cannot comprehend His ability to know everything and understand every possibility, consequence, and side effect. Much like a child who wants ice cream for dinner, we often desire things that aren’t good for us. Like that child, we might also throw a fit when we don’t receive the object of our desires.
As you pray, remember God is sovereign and is always working in your best interest. Submit your dreams, goals, and desires to Him and His will. When things don’t go how you planned, know greater things are still to come!
