God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 2 – Day 1
Unity in the body of Christ is a recurring theme in the Book of Ephesians and throughout the New Testament. Unfortunately, disunity has been a major issue within the church since its beginning.
The enemy likes to stir up arguments over minor issues. If he can get people more concerned about how frequently their church takes communion than they are about evangelism, he’s thrilled. He loves it when Christians refuse to work together over slight disagreements about things like the timeline of events in Revelation.
This is an example of what Paul calls “being tossed about by winds of doctrine.” This kind of division weakens the body of Christ and makes us less effective. Purpose in your heart to stand firm and not be tossed about!

About this Plan

From Genesis to Revelation, “God’s Redemption Story” outlines the narrative of God’s plan for the reconciliation of humanity. This 12-part reading plan summarizes the story of the Bible. After the gospels, the New Testament's focus becomes the formation of the Church, its mission, and its implications in our lives.
