God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Acts: Week 1 – Day 1
The gift of tongues can be freaky if you’ve never experienced it before. Acts tells us the people who heard the Apostles speak in tongues were surprised and confused. But we mustn’t get caught in fear of the unexpected or stalled in disagreement about what’s happening.
The point is that on the day God sent his Holy Spirit to be with his disciples, he used those many tongues to spread his redemption to a variety of people. The Apostles weren’t responsible to learn new languages and convince people to believe in Jesus. They were obedient to Jesus’s command to stay in Jerusalem, and the Holy Spirit used them to deliver the message the way each listener needed to hear it.
Are you being obedient to God today?
