God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 1 – Day 1
What does “blessed” mean? We often associate the term with wealth, fame, success, possessions, or a lack of hardship—a shallow and inaccurate understanding of the concept. Despite this, it’s easy for us to become discontent when we do not receive what we consider blessings.
True blessings are far greater than our superficial desires. Paul tells us that, through Christ, we’ve received every spiritual blessing. Through Christ, we’ve been adopted as sons and daughters of the Most High. Through Christ, we’ve received forgiveness and redemption. Through Christ, we’ve been indwelled with the Spirit of the Living God. Can there be any greater blessings than these?
The next time you feel discontent or desire worldly blessings, reflect on the incredible spiritual blessings you’ve received through Christ.
