God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

1 Corinthians – Day 1
If you look around our world today, you’ll see division everywhere. People are willing to fight and break relationships over the smallest things. Unfortunately, this division is not just a worldly problem. There is just as much division in the church as outside of it.
This is nothing new. The Corinthian Christians divided over which teachers they followed. Paul rebuked them and encouraged them to pledge their allegiance to Christ alone.
Even Paul, the faithful servant of Christ who wrote most of the New Testament, was an imperfect person. He didn’t want people putting their faith in him or any other teacher instead of Jesus. In salvation, we become brothers and sisters in Christ. Any small differences we may have with one another disappear in the light of our profound unity in Him.
