Are you partnering with Jesus to build His church?

Jesus gives us a wonderful prediction in Matthew 16:18. Jesus’ own death would not stop the church from being built, nor would the martyrdom of many of his followers. The early church father Tertullian said, “The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church” (Apologeticum ch. 50, 13). God watered the seed of the Word through the ultimate sacrifice of dedicated saints.

Today, you and I are commissioned to make disciples of all Nations, and when we faithfully do so, there will come a day when we will be rewarded at the bema (judgment) seat of Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 describe that time when we will be rewarded. Let's labor to that end.
