Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoنموونە

And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him (Revelation 22:3 NKJV).
Are you practicing your serve for the New Jerusalem?
In today’s reading, Jesus says, "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work" (Revelation 22:12 NKJV). Are you ready?
His return is both a promise and a call to action. Have you accepted His gift of eternal life? Are you living in a way that honors Him? Let the anticipation of His return inspire you to finish the year with renewed commitment to follow Him wholeheartedly.
Spend time in prayer, thanking Jesus for His faithfulness. Renew your dedication to live for Him in the coming year.
Employment Point: Serve Jesus now to be richly rewarded when He returns, and to be prepared for service in the New Jerusalem.

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
