Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoنموونە

Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:14 NKJV).
Are little children important to you?
In Jesus's day, Jewish parents often brought their infants and little children to rabbis for a blessing. However, Jesus's disciples think that Jesus is too busy to bother with such a menial task. Jesus quickly corrects those disciples because He understands that even in heaven, we will have little children. God’s special grace extends to infants and very little children, which enables them to enter heaven upon death.
Employment Point: Don’t hinder ministry to the little children, but pray for and bless them.

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
