Praying From Paul's Lettersনমুনা

Power Belongs to God
"The surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7, ESV)
Prayer
Wonderful God, Your light shines into our hearts, enabling us to see Your glory in the face of Christ! We are now flooded with His light, beaming out through all our cracks. As the world beholds Your radiance glowing through our flaws and frailties, may they recognize You as the source.
Let our faith remain steadfast, despite hardships, sorrows, difficulties, and persecution. Our faith in the Risen Lord is not crushed, no matter what befalls us in this world. For we remember this world is not our home.
Reshape us through every teardrop that falls. As we release each burden to You, we are being matured, letting go of this life, and clinging tighter to Christ. Give us spiritual vision to perceive every element of this world as fading before our very eyes, while the light of eternity blazes more brightly with each passing day. Anchor our very beings in the truth that what is unseen is actually eternal. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
