Praying From Paul's Lettersনমুনা

God Is Love
"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, You are love. Without You, we would not know what love is. Through the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, we see what real love looks like. This is not the world’s definition of love, which is lustful and self-oriented.
Your love is sacrificial. Your love is based on purity, truth, and righteousness.
Your love looks like a King of heaven, walking on the earth He made, dying for the people He created, so we could be part of Your kingdom family. That is love.
Your love is not selfish. Your love is not prideful or arrogant. Your love is truthful and merciful. Your love endures.
Holy Spirit, fill us with the love of Jesus, a divine love that is beyond us. When we think of love, give us a vision of Jesus on the cross. Remind us of His love, drenching us with blood-red truth, justice, and mercy.
Give us a heart like Jesus’ heart. Help us to exude His love. Let them know we are Christians by our love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
