Mark 3:3-4

“Our hearts are restless till they find their rest in Thee.” Never before have so many of us felt the restlessness Augustine described with this famous sentence. But what is the solution to our lack of true rest? As this three day plan will show, the solution partially lies in viewing the ancient practice of Sabbath through a different lens—through the lens of “Thee”—Jesus—our ultimate source of peace.

We live in a fast-paced world that tempts us to never stop. There is always more to do and more to hustle. Yet since Creation, God has instituted a regular day of rest called the Sabbath. To answer whether Christians should honor the Sabbath in our modern lives, let’s look at the importance of it, God’s intent with it, and how it can be applied to our modern lives.

Few things spark greater anger than a betrayal. And carrying the pain and trauma with you can ignite an unquenchable resentment that leaves you hopeless and despondent. When you’re overcome with bitterness, you need to know there is a God who understands and can help reconcile your pain. This plan will help you understand your anger and how to extinguish it with peace.
