Isaiah 44:28

While most of us understand that the Old Testament Scriptures were written primarily in the Hebrew language, very few of us can read or understand Hebrew. Therefore, we are forced to read the various English translations of the Bible. And, while there are many excellent translations out there, they often miss the nuances, insight, and deeper revelation found in the original Hebrew. 

In this Part 2 of Daniel, we continue to see him live following the One True God as an alien and foreigner in Babylon. As we read his story, we can learn how we too can follow well in our own context. Let's be challenged together by this Godly man.

In these 21 days, may you focus on finding strength, courage and clarity in your journey of reconstruction and fulfillment of God's purpose for your life, your family and your provision. Trust in God's guidance and lean on his promises. Allow God's Word to be your guiding tool as it prepares you to impact lives for the glory of His kingdom. Stay strong, stay faithful, and trust in God's provision every step of the way.

As we head into the season of Advent, it’s easy to be swept away with all the plans of Christmas, family times, food, and gifts. It's also full of emotions, pain, and loss for many of us. Advent is a season of waiting. Trusting in a good God who holds our times and seasons. Advent. Wait. Hope.
