This 3-day devotional reminds us that all it takes is one moment when God is involved. He is the One that provides us focus and strength when we need it most.

Has there ever been a moment where you knew God was speaking directly to you? Maybe you were listening to a song on the radio, reading a passage of scripture, talking to a friend, or spending time praying to God. This plan aims to help us quiet our soul, to focus our attention, and to listen for His voice.

In Ecclesiastes, the author attempts to find meaning and purpose in life. As we read, we see anguish and regret over failed attempts at happiness through wealth, fame, and achievement. Ultimately, he realizes that the purpose of humanity is to know God and enjoy what God has given us. Only God can provide the fulfillment for which our hearts and souls long.

This 5-week devotional is built around the songs of Engedi Music’s album Kid. Each week focuses on a different theme drawn from the lyrics—childlike faith, trusting God’s direction, discovering our true identity in grace, experiencing God’s presence in our mess, and finding His peace in the middle of anxiety. Through Scripture, reflection, and music, you’ll be encouraged to draw near to Jesus with a simple, dependent heart and to encounter Him in fresh ways this summer.
