- 'Oyik, 'ot'iwóoqoy'.
Wet 'iyhàj yààme' tha yok:
- Hààte 'olhaamelh, 'oyiklhaayis'ámkye'.
Wet yikhen', wet tiyààjolhayis 'noohih. Wet t'iwooqyhen', honámkye', tha hàp tà lhaamelh tok 'imaak 'ilàành. 4Wet tà 'ijwaaláhya wet, 'iyahin'úujwe' tha', 'it'léetsi Jweesus. Tha hàp tà lhaamelh tok 'itíiyej kyek hâàpe Jweesus. 5Wet Jweesus yààme lhaamelh tha yok:
- 'Ileesas, hà la'weenay 'imak kyek latuu-jwayh?

- Mathaja wet, hâàpep'at'a', Lhaawuk!
Wet Siimon Tuuntehen', tà 'ilààte 'eelh tà 'iwooyetso wet, 'inaayhetlhámej la'wuy' (tsi hàp tà pajkyemat 'ilaanhi la'wuy'), wet lha-'ithat'inâàteh. 8Wet 'iyhàj wet, nekkyeet'at 'noohih, tà 'itoon-lhi lawoot tà 'waahat tapóoyej. Tsi hàp tà lhaamelh, tok 'atoojwyáyeho 'uujw. 9Wet tà lhaamelh nikyàt'úujwe wet, hi'ween 'iitájjwiyholh, wet 'waahat 'iwehyáalha tà 'notii'pe', tà 'nosiikyà', wet pàành. 10Wet Jweesus yààme lhaamelh tha yok:
- Lhukyàj 'waahatne lalàànayh. 11Wet Siimon Tuuntehen', tiyâàjo 'noohih, wet 'itoonphà 'noowot. Wet 'iton'úujwe' tha', 'waahat tà wuuskye', tapóoyej. Wet 'noqaa - lelhàtlà' tha', 'íihi siyeenh 'ii'pe lhoota' 'ii'pe laajtumjwáyah. Tha tej tà wuujw 'waahat tha', tok hik'eeskye 'not'aajnhat. 12Wet Jweesus yààme lhaamelh tha yok:
- Lhuuyayh, t'ekhaayhen'.

- 'Àp háats'i tà 'aahâpe'?

- 'Uuh, 'Iwuuk, lahaanejt'at tà 'o'aayahu-minh.
Wet lhaam yààme' tha yok:
- T'eekyenwethà 'ooqatso'natasles. 16Wet Jweesus yaakyâjo tà yààme' tha yok:
- Siimonh, Jwoonaslhàs, hà lahuumin-'no'?
Wet nikyúulho' tha yok:
- 'Uuh, 'Iwuuk, lahaanejt'at tà 'o'aayahu-minh.
Wet Jweesus yààme' tha yok:
- Màkyàjwii 'ooqatso'natas. 17Wet 'àp yaakyâjo tà yààme' tha yok:
- Siimonh, Jwoonaslhàs, hà lahuumin'no'?
Wet Tuuntehen', lajwiitahayaj'íhi', tà 'àp 'noyaakyâjo tà 'not'yààtshane' tha 'noyok: Hà lahuumin'no'? Wet nikyúulho' tha yok:
- 'Iwuuk, lahaanejt'at nilhóoqej 'imaa-yheyh, lahaanej tà 'o'aayahuminh.

- Nek'nóoke'!

20Wet Tuuntehen', 'iyaahinhlà la'nààyij tha', hi'weenhlà 'nookyujwanek tà Jweesus la- huumnékyah, tà 'imààlhkye la'nààyij, tà hâàpe 'elhnaj 'iiwhàye Jweesus tà lhaamelh t'ekhen tà honaj, tà hàp tà yààmenaj tha yok: 'Àp háats'ihila 'o'elh kyek 'aayakyàji-lah? 21Wet tà Tuuntehen hi'weenhlà wet, yààme Jweesus tha yok:
- 'Iwuuk, wet kyihla màànhyej lhaam-tsih? 22Wet Jweesus yààme' tha yok:
- Kyek 'ohuumin kyek lhaam 'imààlheh-kyà', paj tha 'àp 'onààmh, wet kyi hààte tà lhen'atiikyunhayája'?
