JESAJA 26:8

For some, Christmas time can be full of grief, tragedy, hurt, and division. Yet Christmas celebrates that God became a human and stepped right into the middle of our hurting, angry, chaotic world to bring us peace—peace among people and, even more importantly, peace with God. Join us this Advent season in looking at the peace brought by Christ.

This devotional is designed to bring you closer to God through weekly prayer guides. Prayer can often be hard without structure, and Rachel Wojo is here to help you speak to the Lord with questions for reflection that will help you deepen your relationship with God and find your identity in Him.

Anxiety doesn’t have to control your life. In this 5-day plan, discover how to trade worry for peace through God’s Word. Learn to trust Him, surrender control, renew your thoughts, and experience His presence in every situation. You don’t have to carry it alone—God’s peace is available to you right now.

Maranatha is an Aramaic word that the earliest believers used as both a prayer and a greeting, meaning “Come, Lord Jesus”, and the church carried it untranslated across languages and centuries because no other word held its weight. Somewhere along the way, for many of us, the return of Jesus became a doctrine we affirm rather than a reality we long for. This five-day plan was born out of one question: what would it take for Maranatha to become the genuine posture of your heart? Come, Lord Jesus. That is where this plan begins and where it ends.
