Romans 16

Commendation
1 Now I commend to you Phoebe, our sister, who is* a servant of the church in Cenchrea, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner fitting for the saints, and that you may support her in whatever matter she may have need of you. For she also has been a helper of many, and of me personally.*
Personal Greetings
3 Greet Prisca* and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, 4 who hazarded their own neck for my life, to whom not only I am thankful, but also all the churches of the Gentiles, 5 and the church in their house.* Greet Epenetus, my beloved, who is the firstfruits* of Asia for Christ. 6 Greet Mary, who has laboured much for you. 7 Greet Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen* and my fellow prisoners, who are notable in the estimation of the apostles,* who also were in Christ before me. 8 Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord. 9 Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved. 10 Greet Apelles, the approved one in Christ. Greet those of the household of Aristobulus.* 11 Greet Herodion, my kinsman.* Greet those of the household of Narcissus* who are in the Lord. 12 Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, the ones who labour in the Lord. Greet Persis the beloved, who has laboured much in the Lord. 13 Greet Rufus, the elect one in the Lord, and his mother and mine. 14 Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers with them. 15 Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints with them. 16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.*
Final Remarks
17 Now I exhort you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause dissensions and obstacles contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and turn away from them. 18 For such individuals do not serve the Lord, but their own appetites;* and by honeyed speech and flattery,* they seduce the hearts of the unsuspecting. 19 For the testimony of* your obedience has spread to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. Yet, I want you to be wise as regards what is good, and innocent as regards what is evil. 20 Now the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet in a short time.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.*
Greetings from Paul’s Companions

22 I, Tertius, the one who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.
23 Gaius, host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the city treasurer, and Quartus, our* brother, greet you.*
Doxology
25 Now to the One who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past,* 26 but has now been made manifest, and through the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all the nations, according to the commandment of the eternal God, to bring about obedience that is grounded in faith*— 27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory forever.* Amen.*
