PSALM NINETY-TWO
A Psalm or Song for the Sabbath Day.
1It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises unto Your name, O Most High, #Psa. 147:1
2To show forth Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness every night #Psa. 89:1
3Upon the instrument of ten strings, and upon the harp, with melody of music upon the lyre; #Psa. 9:16, 33:2; 1 Chr. 23:5
4For You, Lord, have made me glad with Your work; I will exult in the works of Your hands.
5O Lord, how great are Your works; Your thoughts are very deep. #Isa. 28:29; Psa. 40:5; Rom. 11:33
6A brutish man does not know, nor does a fool understand this. #Psa. 73:22
7When the wicked spring forth as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity blossom, it is that they shall be destroyed forever; #Jer. 12:1-2; Mal. 3:15; Psa. 37:1-2; Job 12:6
8But You, O Lord, are on high forever. #Psa. 83:18
9For, lo, Your enemies, O Lord, for lo, Your enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. #Psa. 68:1
10But You shall lift up my horn as the wild ox, and I shall be anointed with fresh oil. #Psa. 23:5, 89:17
11Also my eyes shall see my desire on my enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire on the wicked who rise up against me. #Psa. 54:7, 59:10
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. #Isa. 65:22; Hos. 14:5-6; Psa. 52:8
13Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. #Psa. 100:4
14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green.
15To show that the Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. #Deut. 32:4; Rom. 9:14
