Psalms 61
61
PSALM SIXTY-ONE
To the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2From the end of the earth I cry to You when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the Rock higher than me,
3For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower against the enemy. #Prov. 18:10
4I will dwell in Your tabernacle forever; I will take refuge in the hiding place of Your wings. Selah. #Psa. 91:4
5For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.
6May You add to the days of the king’s life; may his years be as many generations.
7May he abide before God forever; prepare mercy and truth to preserve him. #Psa. 40:11
8So I will sing praise to Your name forever, so that I may daily perform my vows.
