PSALM FORTY-SEVEN
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm for the sons of Korah.
1Clap your hands, all you people; shout to God with the voice of triumph, #Isa. 55:12
2For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. #Deut. 7:21; Mal. 1:14; Psa. 76:12
3He shall subdue the people under us and nations under our feet. #Psa. 18:47
4He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom He loved. Selah. #1 Pet. 1:4
5God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a horn. #Psa. 68:33
6Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises,
7For God is King of all the earth; sing praises with understanding. #Zech. 14:9; 1 Cor. 14:15
8God reigns over the nations; God sits upon the throne of His holiness. #Psa. 93:1; 1 Chr. 16:31; Rev. 19:6
9The rulers of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham for the shields of the earth are God’s; He is greatly exalted. #Psa. 89:18
