PSALM TWENTY-THREE
A Psalm of David.
1The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. #Isa. 40:11; John 10:11; Phil. 4:19
2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. #Ezek. 34:14; Rev. 7:17
3He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. #Psa. 5:8
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. #Isa. 43:2; Psa. 3:6, 44:19; Job 10:21-22
5You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. #Psa. 92:10
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
