PSALM ONE HUNDRED-TWENTY-TWO
A Song of degrees; of David.
1I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” #Isa. 2:3; Zech. 8:21
2Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.
3Jerusalem is built like a city that is all joined together as one #2 Sam. 5:9
4Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord, #Ex. 16:34 23:17; Deut. 16:16
5For there were set the thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. #Deut. 17:8; 2 Chr. 19:8
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper. #Psa. 51:18
7Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.”
8For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9For of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good. #Neh. 2:10
