Ephesians 3
3
CHAPTER THREE
1For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles, #Acts 21:33; Col. 1:24
2If indeed you have heard of the ministry of the grace of God that was given to me for you; #Acts 9:15; Rom. 1:5
3How He made known to me by revelation the mystery (even as I wrote briefly before, #Acts 22:17; Rom. 16:25
4So that when you read this, you will be able to comprehend my understanding in the mystery of Christ),
5Which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; #Rom. 16:25
6That the Gentiles might be joint heirs, and a joint body, and joint partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, #Gal. 3:28
7Of which I became a servant according to the gift of the grace of God, which was given to me through the inner working of His power. #Rom. 1:5, 15:16, 18
8To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I might preach the gospel among the Gentiles—even the unsearchable riches of Christ; #1 Cor. 15:9; Col. 1:27
9And that I might enlighten all as to what is the fellowship of the mystery that has been hidden from the ages in God, Who created all things by Jesus Christ; #Psa. 33:6; Rom. 16:25
10So that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places, #1 Pet. 1:12; Col. 1:16; 1 Tim. 3:16
11According to His eternal purpose, which He has wrought in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12In Whom we have boldness and direct access with confidence through His very own faith. #Heb. 4:16
13So then, I beseech you not to faint at my tribulations for you, which are working for your glory. #2 Cor. 1:6; Phil. 1:14
14For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15Of Whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, #Eph. 1:10
16That He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man; #Rom. 7:22; Phil. 4:19; Col. 1:11
17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; #John 14:23; Col. 1:23
18 And that being rooted and grounded in love, you may be fully able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, #Rom. 10:3; Eph. 1:18
19And to know the love of Christ, which surpasses human knowledge; so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. #Eph. 1:23
20Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us, #Rom. 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:9; Col. 1:29
21To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, even into the ages of eternity. Amen. #Rom. 11:36
