II Corinthians 6

6
CHAPTER SIX
1We then, working together with Him, are also exhorting you not to receive the grace of God in vain. #1 Cor. 3:9; 2 Cor. 5:20
2(For He says, “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is an acceptable time. Behold, now is a day of salvation.) #Isa. 49:8
3We do not give offense to anyone in anything, so that the ministry may not be blamed; #Rom. 14:13; 1 Cor. 9:12, 10:32
4But in everything we are confirming ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in tribulation, in necessities, in distresses, #1 Cor. 4:1; 2 Cor. 4:2
5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings, #2 Cor. 11:23
6In pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
7In the Word of truth, in the power of God; through the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, #1 Cor. 2:4; 2 Cor. 7:14, 10:4; Eph. 6:11
8Through glory and dishonor, through evil report and good report, as deceivers and true,
9As unknown and well known; as dying, but behold, we are alive; as chastened, but not put to death; #Psa. 118:18; 1 Cor. 4:9; 2 Cor. 1:9, 4:2, 5:11
10As sorrowful, but always rejoicing; as poor, but enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.
11O you Corinthians! Our mouths have been opened to you, and our hearts have been enlarged toward you. #2 Cor. 7:3
12You are not suppressed by us, but you are restricted in your own hearts; #2 Cor. 12:15
13Now in return for our ministry to you (I am speaking to you as to children), you should also enlarge your hearts toward us. #1 Cor. 4:14
14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and lawlessness have in common? And what fellowship does light have with darkness? #Deut. 7:2-3; 1 Sam. 5:2-3; 1 Ki. 18:21; 1 Cor. 5:9; Eph. 5:7, 11
15And what union does Christ have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
16And what agreement is there between a temple of God and idols? For you are a temple of the living God, exactly as God said: “I will dwell in them and walk inthem; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. #Ex. 29:45; Lev. 26:12; Jer. 31:33; 1 Cor. 3:16; Eph. 2:21; Heb. 3:6
17Therefore, come out from the midst of them and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch not the unclean, and I will receive you; #Is. 52:11; Jer. 31:1, 9; Rev. 18:4, 21:7
18And I shall be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty.
