A Song of Ascents
1I lift up my eyes to the mountains.
Where does my help come from?
2My help comes from YHWH,
Creator of heaven and earth.
3Hᴇ will not let your foot slip.
Your guardian will not slumber.
4Indeed, the guardian of Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5YHWH is your guardian.
YHWH is your shade on your right hand.
6The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7YHWH will guard you from all evil.
Hᴇ will guard your soul.
8YHWH will guard your going out and your coming in,
both now and forever more.
