Psalm 43
Send Out Your Light and Your Truth
1Give justice to me, O God, and plead my case against an unholy nation;
# 43:1 Or May You Oh protect me from the deceitful and unrighteous man!
2For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me?
Why do I go mourning #43:2 Or while the enemy oppressesbecause of the oppression of the enemy?
3¶Oh send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your holy mountain
And to Your dwelling places.
4Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God #43:4 Lit the gladness of my joymy exceeding joy;
And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.
5¶Why are you #43:5 Or sunk downin despair, O my soul?
And why are you disturbed within me?
Wait for God, for I shall still praise Him,
The salvation of my presence and my God.
