And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi departed for their own country by another way. Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord *appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”

The aim of this devotion is to encourage you in your faith as you study some of God’s promises which are a glimpse into the events related to the arrival of Jesus which we celebrate during Christmas.
