Tas`loniqim Bĕt (2 Thessalonians) 1
1
1Sha’ul, and Silas, and Timotiyos, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah:
2Favour to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah.
3We ought to give thanks to Elohim always for you, brothers, as it is proper, because your belief grows exceedingly, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing,
4so that we ourselves boast of you among the assemblies of Elohim for your endurance and belief in all your persecutions and afflictions which you are bearing,
5clear evidence of the righteous judgment of Elohim, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of Elohim, for which you also suffer,
6since Elohim shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you,
7and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers,
8in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know Elohim, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah,
9who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength,
10when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.
11To this end we always pray for you that our Elohim would count you worthy of this calling, and complete all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of belief with power,
12so that the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah is esteemed in you, and you in Him, according to the favour of our Elohim and the Master יהושע Messiah.

2 Thessalonians 1
1
Greeting
1From Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy:
To the church of the Thessalonians, which is in God our Father, and in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Grace and peace to all of you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanksgiving and encouragement
3Brothers and sisters, we must always thank God for you. This is only right because your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing. 4That’s why we ourselves are bragging about you in God’s churches. We tell about your endurance and faithfulness in all the harassments and trouble that you have put up with. 5This shows that God’s judgment is right, and that you will be considered worthy of God’s kingdom for which you are suffering. 6After all, it’s right for God to pay back the ones making trouble for you with trouble 7and to pay back you who are having trouble with relief along with us. This payback will come when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his powerful angels. 8He will give justice with blazing fire to those who don’t recognize God and don’t obey the good news of our Lord Jesus. 9They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction away from the Lord’s presence and away from his mighty glory. 10This will happen when he comes on that day to receive honor from his holy people and to be admired by everyone who has believed—and our testimony to you was believed.
11We are constantly praying for you for this: that our God will make you worthy of his calling and accomplish every good desire and faithful work by his power. 12Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored by you, and you will be honored by him, consistent with the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
