The final week in the life of Jesus was no ordinary week. It was a time of bittersweet goodbyes, lavish giving, cruel betrayals and prayers that shook heaven. Experience this week, from Palm Sunday to the miraculous Resurrection, as we read through the Biblical account together. We will cheer with the crowds on Jerusalem’s streets, shout in anger at Judas and the Roman soldiers, cry with the women at the Cross, and celebrate as Easter morning dawns!

We love Christmas with all its festivity, but Easter can be no less. What started in Bethlehem seemed to have found its end at Golgotha, yet it didn’t end there! This is a 12-day Easter plan to contemplate the significance of the last supper, the death of Jesus, the in-between day of rest, and a glorious comeback.

COVID-19 has brought tremendous challenges to our community, our country, and our world, resulting in uncertainty and fear. Yet even in our crisis, God still speaks. Jesus entered into human history to show us how to find hope and peace. This devotional will lead us through key passages of the gospel of Matthew to show us how Jesus provides hope and peace in the midst of all of life’s circumstances.
