Moody, this Bible Plan examines eight characteristics evident in the Scriptures and in the life of 19th century evangelist Dwight Moody (e.g., surrendered, prayerful, humbled, undistracted, and studious). This devotional explores some of God’s attributes to help you know your Heavenly Father better. Everything we have is from God—including our Salvation granted through the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the daily reminders of His Presence. Spend some time giving thanks to Almighty God as a practice of obedience and display of worship. Each day has additional journaling prompts designed to keep your eyes focused on God.

God’s relentless love is the life-blood of his mission. This love was most remarkably displayed in the culmination of his grand salvation plan: sending his very own Son to live and minister on earth, finally dying a sinner’s death on the cross, that we might be redeemed by our faith in him and raised with him in his resurrection. Such perfect love demands a response—we love because God first loved us.
