Elia thabeng ya Horebe

Jwale lentswe la boela la fihla ho yena, la re: “O etsang moo, Elia?”
14Yena a re: “Ke ka baka la ho tjhesehela ho sebeletsa Morena Modimo wa mabotho, ke leng mona. Bana ba Iseraele ba furaletse selekane sa hao, ba heleditse dialetare tsa hao, ba bolaile baporofeta ba hao ka sabole. Ke nna ke le mong feela ya setseng, mme jwale ba batla ho mpolaya.”
15Yaba Morena o re ho yena: “Ikgate mohlala, o ye lehwatateng la Damaseka. Ha o fihla teng, o tlotse Hasaele, e be kgosi ya Arame. 16Jehu, mora wa Nimeshi, yena o mo tlotse, e be kgosi ya Iseraele; le Elisha, mora wa Shafate wa Abele-Menola o mo tlotse, e be moporofeta bakeng sa hao. 17Ya tla phonyoha saboleng sa Hasaele, o tla bolawa ke Jehu, mme ya tla phonyoha saboleng ya Jehu, o tla bolawa ke Elisha. 18Empa ke tla siya ba dikete tse supileng naheng ya Iseraele, e leng bohle ba sa kang ba kgumamela Baale, le bohle ba sa kang ba mo aka.”

19Yaba Elia o a tsamaya, mme a fumana Elisha, mora wa Shafate, moo ho ntseng ho lengwa ka dipane tse leshome le metso e mmedi tsa dipholo, yena a lema ka sepane sa leshome le metso e mmedi. Elia a fihla a feta pela Elisha, yaba o akgela kobo ya hae hodima hae. 20Elisha a siya dipholo, a matha kamora Elia, a re: “Ako ntumelle, ke a o rapela: Ke mpe ke yo aka ntate le mme, mme ke tla o latela.”
Yaba Elia o re ho yena: “Tsamaya! Na nkile ka o thibela?”
21Yaba Elisha o a kgutla, o nka dipholo tsa hae tsa sepane, o a di hlaba. A besa mollo ka dijoko, a pheha nama ya dipholo, a e fa batho, yaba ba a ja. Jwale yena a tsamaya, a sala Elia morao, mme a mo sebeletsa.
