Christmas has its own unique sound and so much of that sound is defined from the music we listen to during the holiday season. From traditional carols to modern-day songs, music is a catalyst that helps us draw closer to God during Christmas. During this three-day video reading plan, you will watch, listen and read the words of three classic Christmas carols that will help you focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

This Bible reading plan is something of a paradox. Over the next five days, we’re going to look both at the Bible and outside the Bible. We’re going to learn to read God’s word in context of His world. So come, join us. Listen to the birds and the skies and the seasons. Listen to the Scripture and Spirit. The book of Isaiah contains rich imagery, prophecies about the coming Messiah, and reminders of God’s faithfulness towards his people. The prophet Isaiah recounts God’s faithfulness to the Israelites and speaks of his hope in a future redemption through Jesus. On this plan, you will learn more about God’s justice and compassion and how he is present and near to those who are suffering.
