Jeremiah 32
32
CHAPTER 32
1The word that was made of the Lord to Jeremy, in the tenth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah; that is the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.
2Then the host of the king of Babylon besieged Jerusalem; and Jeremy, the prophet, was enclosed in the porch of the prison, that was in the house of the king of Judah.
3For why Zedekiah, the king of Judah, had enclosed him, and said, Why prophesiest thou, saying, The Lord saith these things, Lo! I shall give this city in[to] the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
4and Zedekiah, king of Judah, shall not escape from the hand of Chaldees, but he shall be betaken into the hand of the king of Babylon; and his mouth shall speak with the mouth of him, and his eyes shall see the eyes of him;
5and he shall lead Zedekiah into Babylon, and he shall be there, till I visit him, saith the Lord; forsooth if ye fight against [the] Chaldees, ye shall have nothing in prosperity?
6And Jeremy said, The word of the Lord was made to me, and said,
7Lo! Hanameel, the son of Shallum, the son of thy father’s brother, shall come to thee, and say, Buy thou to thee my field, which is in Anathoth; for it befalleth to thee by nigh kindred, that thou buy it.
8And Hanameel, the son of my father’s brother, came to me, by the word of the Lord, to the porch of the prison, and said to me, Wield thou my field, which is in Anathoth, in the land of Benjamin; for why the heritage befalleth to thee, and thou art the next of blood, that thou wield it. Forsooth I understood, that it was the word of the Lord.
9And I bought the field, which is in Anathoth, of Hanameel, the son of my father’s brother. And I paid to him silver, seven staters, and ten pieces of silver;
10and I wrote in a book, and I sealed, and I gave witnesses. And I weighed silver in a balance;
11and I took the book asealed of possession, and [the] askings and [the] answerings of the seller and [the] buyer, and [the] covenants, and [the] seals withoutforth.
12And I gave the book of possession to Baruch, the son of Neriah, son of Maaseiah, before the eyes of Hanameel, the son of my father’s brother, and before the eyes of witnesses that were written in the book of [the] buying, before the eyes of all Jews, that sat in the porch of the prison.
13And I commanded to Baruch before them, and I said,
14The Lord of hosts, God of Israel, saith these things, Take thou these books, this sealed book of buying, and this book which is open, and put thou those [or them] in an earthen vessel, that they may dwell many days.
15For why the Lord of hosts, God of Israel, saith these things, Yet houses, and fields, and vines shall be wielded in this land.
16And I prayed to the Lord, after that I betook the book of possession to Baruch, the son of Neriah; and I said,
17Alas! alas! alas! Lord God, Lord, thou madest heaven and earth in thy great strength, and in thine arm stretched forth; each word shall not be hard to thee;
18which doest mercy in thousands, and yieldest the wickedness of fathers into the bosom of their sons after them. Thou strongest, great, mighty, Lord of hosts is name to thee;
19great in counsel, and uncompre-hensible in thought, whose eyes be open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, that thou yield to each after his ways, and after the fruit of his findings;
20which settedest signs and great wonders in the land of Egypt, unto this day, both in Israel, and in men; and madest to thee a name, as this day is.
21And thou leddest thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt, in signs and in great wonders, and in a strong hand, and in an arm holden forth, and in great dread;
22and thou gavest to them this land, which thou sworest to the fathers of them, that thou wouldest give to them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
23And they entered, and had it in possession; and they obeyed not to thy voice, and they went not in thy law; all things which thou commandedest to them to do, they did not; and all these evils befell to them.
24Lo! strongholds be builded against the city, that it be taken, and the city is given into the hands of Chaldees, and into the hands of the king of Babylon, that fight against it, of the face of [the] sword, and of hunger, and of pestilence; and whatever things thou spakest, befell, as thou thyself seest.
25And thou saidest to me, Lord God, Buy thou a field for silver, and give thou witnesses, when the city is given in the hands of Chaldees.
26And the word of the Lord was made to Jeremy, and said,
27Lo! I am the Lord God of all flesh. Whether any word shall be hard to me?
28Therefore the Lord saith these things, Lo! I shall betake this city into the hands of Chaldees, and into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it.
29And Chaldees shall come, and fight against this city, and they shall burn it with fire, and they shall burn it, and [the] houses, in whose roofs they sacrificed to Baal, and offered moist sacrifices to alien gods, to stir me to wrath.
30For why the sons of Israel, and the sons of Judah, did evil continually, from their young waxing age, before mine eyes; the sons of Israel, which till to now wrathed me by the work of their hands, saith the Lord.
31For why this city is made to me in my strong vengeance and indignation, from the day in which they built it, unto this day, in which it shall be taken away from my sight;
32for the malice of the sons of Israel, and of the sons of Judah, which they did, stirring me to wrath-fulness, they, and the kings of them, the princes of them, and the priests, and prophets of them, the men of Judah, and the dwellers of Jerusalem.
33And they turned to me the backs, and not the faces, when I taught, and informed them early; and they would not hear, that they should take teaching.
34And they setted their idols in the house, in which my name is called to help, that they should defoul it.
35And they builded high things to Baal, that be in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, that they should hallow their sons and their daughters to Molech, which thing I commanded not to them, neither it ascended [or went up] into mine heart, that they should do this abomination, and bring [down] Judah into sin.
36And now for these things, the Lord God of Israel saith these things to this city, of which ye say, that it shall be betaken into the hands of the king of Babylon, in sword, and in hunger, and in pestilence,
37Lo! I shall gather them from all lands, to which I casted them out in my strong vengeance, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I shall bring them again to this place, and I shall make them to dwell trustily.
38And they shall be into a people to me, and I shall be into God to them.
39And I shall give to them one heart, and one soul, that they dread me in all days, and that it be well to them, and to their sons after them.
40And I shall smite to them a covenant everlasting, and I shall not cease to do well to them, and I shall give my dread in the heart of them, that they go not away from me.
41And I shall be glad on them, when I shall do well to them; and I shall plant them in this land in truth, in all mine heart, and in all my soul.
42For the Lord saith these things, As I brought on this people all this great evil, so I shall bring on them all the good, which I shall speak to them.
43And fields shall be wielded in this land, of which ye say, that it is desert, for no man and beast is left; and it is given into the hands of Chaldees.
44Fields shall be bought for money, and shall be written in a book, and a seal shall be imprinted; and witnesses shall be given, in the land of Benjamin, and in the compass of Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities in [the] hilly places, and in the cities in [the] field places, and in the cities that be at the south; for I shall turn the captivity of them, saith the Lord.

Jeremià 32
32
Nividy saha i Jeremià
1Nisy torolalana avy amin’ny TOMPO ho an’i Jeremià tamin’ny taona fahafolo nanjakàn’i Tsedekià mpanjakan’i Joda, izany hoe ny taona faha-18 nanjakàn’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjakan’i Babilôna. 2Ny tafika babilônianina tamin’izay dia nanao fahirano an’i Jerosalema; ary i Jeremià mpaminany dia nogadraina tao an-dapan’ny mpanjakan’i Joda, tao an-kianja fiambenana. 3I Tsedekià no nampanidy an’i Jeremià tao satria nanome tsiny ity mpaminany izy tamin’ny nanambarany ny hafatry ny TOMPO hoe: «Hatolotro eo an-tanan’ny mpanjakan’i Babilôna i Jerosalema ka ho lasany. 4Ary na dia i Tsedekià mpanjakan’i Joda aza dia tsy ho afa-mitsoaka amin’ny Babilônianina fa hatolotra tokoa amin’ny mpanjakan’i Babilôna. Tsy maintsy hiseho eo anatrehan’i Nebokadnetsara izy ka hifandahatra aminy mivantana. 5Dia hoentina any Babilôna i Tsedekià, ka hijanona any saingy hokarakaraiko, hoy ny teny hentitra avy amiko TOMPO. Fa na dia hanohy hiady amin’ny Babilônianina aza ianareo, dia tsy haharesy azy.»
6Kanjo nitantara i Jeremià fa nisy hafatry ny TOMPO ho azy nanao hoe:
7–Ho avy any aminao i Hanamèla, zanakalahin’i Salòma rahalahin-drainao momba ny sahany ao Hanatôta. Hiangavy anao izy mba hividy io saha io, satria ianao no havany akaiky ka manan-jo hanavotra hividy azy#32.7 Ny zo sy adidin’ny havana akaiky dia voafaritra mazava ao Lev 25.25..
8Araka izay nolazain’ny TOMPO, dia tonga tany amiko tao an-kianja fiambenana tokoa i Hanamèla zana-drahalahin-draiko, ka niteny tamiko hoe:
–Tokony hovidinao ny sahako izay ao Hanatôta ao amin’ny tanin’i Benjamîna, fa ianao no havako akaiky ka manan-jo hanavotra sy hanana azy.
Koa fantatro tamin’izay fa ny TOMPO tokoa no efa niteny tamiko.
9Dia novidiko tamin’i Hanamèla zana-drahalahin-draiko ny sahany tao Hanatôta ary naloako ny vidiny, dia sekela volafotsy fito ambin’ny folo. 10Nataoko dika roa mitovy ny taratasy fivarotana. Teo imason’ny vavolombelona no nohidiko tamin’ny tombokaseko#32.10 Ny manisy tombokase amin’ny raki-tsoratra iray dia mitovy amin’ny manisy sonia azy sady ahazoana manidy koa io raki-tsoratra io amin’ny pentin-tsavoka voamariky ny fitomboka. ny dikan’ny taratasy fifampivarotana iray ary nolanjaiko tamin’ny mizàna ny lanjan’ny volafotsy. 11Avy eo dia nalaiko ny dikan’ny taratasy fifampivarotana vita tombokase araka izay notakin’ny lalàna sy ilay dika iray misokatra, 12ka natolotro an’i Baròka#32.12 I Baròka dia mpitantsoratr’i Jeremià sady sakaizany: jereo 36.4., zanakalahin’i Nerià sady zafikelin’i Mahaseià, teo imason’i Hanamèla zana-drahalahin-draiko sy teo imason’ireo vavolombelona izay niara-nanao sonia ny taratasy fivarotana ary teo imason’ireo Jiosy rehetra nipetraka teo an-kianja fiambenana. 13Dia teo imason’ny olona rehetra teo no nandidiako an’i Baròka hoe:
14–Izao no lazain’ny TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao sady Andriamanitr’i Israely: Raiso ny dikan’ny taratasy fifampivarotana voaisy tombon-kase sy ny dika iray misokatra, ka apetraho ao anaty siny tanimanga mba ho voatahiry maharitra ela.
15Fa izao no lazain’ny TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao sady Andriamanitr’i Israely: Mbola hisy trano sy saha ary tanimboaloboka hovidina indray amin’ity tany ity.
16Rehefa avy nanolotra ny taratasim-pivarotana tamin’i Baròka zanakalahin’i Nerià aho, dia nivavaka tamin’ny TOMPO ka nanao hoe:
17–Indrisy, ry Tompo ANDRIANANAHARY ô, Ianao no namorona ny lanitra sy ny tany tamin’ny herinao lehibe sy tamin’ny fahefànao, ka tsy misy zava-mahagaga tsy vitanao. 18Maneho fitiavana hatramin’ny taranaka faharivo Ianao; fa raha misy nanao fahadisoana kosa ny ray aman-dreny, dia ny zanany no asainao mizaka ny vokatr’izany. Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahery Ianao, ary TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao no anaranao. 19Manana fikasana lehibe Ianao ary manan-kery hanatanterahana azy. Arakao maso avokoa izay izoran’ny olombelona mba hamalianao azy araka ny fitondrantenany sy ny vokatry ny asany.
20Naneho ny lazanao Ianao raha nanao famantarana sy zava-mahagaga fony mbola tany Ejipta ny razanay, ary mandraka ankehitriny eo amin’ny Israelita sy eo amin’ny olombelona hafa koa tahaka ny amin’izao anio izao. 21Naneho hery amam-pahefana Ianao raha nanao famantarana sy zava-mahagaga mampivarahontsana mba hamoahana ny Israelita vahoakanao hiala avy tany Ejipta. 22Nianiana tamin’ny razanay Ianao fa hanome azy ny tany izay misy anay ankehitriny, dia tany tondra-dronono sy tantely; ka nanome azy izany. 23Tonga teto tokoa izy ary naka ny tany ho fananany; saingy tsy nihaino izay nolazainao izy, ary tsy nanaraka ny lalànao sady tsy nanatanteraka ny zavatra rehetra nasainao nataony; koa izany no nampiharanao izao loza rehetra izao aminy.
24Indro mandroso hatrany izao ny Babilônianina amin’ny fanaovana fahirano ny tanàna ka hahafaka azy; eny, hatolotra ho eo an-tanan’ny Babilônianina izy, ka hasiany amin’ny sabatra sy ny mosary ary ny areti-mandringana. Hitanao tsara izao fa tanteraka izay nambaranao. 25Eny, efa saika eo am-pelatanan’ny Babilônianina izao ny tanàna; koa nahoana Ianao, ry Tompo ANDRIANANAHARY ô, no nandidy ahy hividy io saha io ka handoa ny vidiny tolo-botsotra teo anatrehan’ny vavolombelona?
Namaly an’i Jeremià ny Tompo
26Dia namaly ahy ny TOMPO ka nanao hoe:
27–Izaho no TOMPO Andriamanitry ny miaina rehetra, ka moa misy zavatra tsy vitako va? 28Izany no ilazako aminao hoe: Indro ity tanàna ity hatolotro eo am-pelatanan’i Nebokadnetsara mpanjakan’i Babilôna sy eo am-pelatanan’ny tafiny ka ho afany#32.28 Fanaovam-pahirano sy fahazoana an’i Jerosalema: jereo 2 Mp 25.1-11; 2 Tan 36.17-21.. 29Eo am-panafihana azy ny Babilônianina izao ka ho tafiditra ao an-tanàna, dia handrava sy handoro azy amin’ny afo, indrindra ireo trano izay nampahasosotra Ahy satria teo amin’ny tafony marin-tampona no nandoroana zava-manitra mifangaro ho an’i Bahala sy nanolorana fanatitra divay ho an’ireo andriamani-kafa.
30Fa ny Israelita sy ny Jodeanina dia efa nanao izay ratsy teo imasoko hatramin’ny fiandohan’ny tantarany, ary tsy nisy asa nataony afa-tsy ny nampalahelo Ahy; teny hentitra avy amiko TOMPO izany. 31Fa ity tanànan’i Jerosalema ity dia efa nampahavinitra sy nampahatezitra Ahy hatramin’ny nanorenana azy ka mandraka androany, hany ka hoesoriko tsy ho eo anatrehako intsony. 32Nanao izay nampalahelo Ahy ny Israelita sy ny Jodeanina tamin’ny ratsy rehetra nataony, dia ny mpanjakany sy ny mpitondrany ary ny mpisorony sy ny mpaminaniny mbamin’ireo olon’i Joda sy ny mponina eto Jerosalema. 33Toy izay hanatrika Ahy izy, dia vao mainka niamboho Ahy. Tsy nisy nanaiky sy nihaino ny fampianarako ireo, na dia tsy nitsahatra nampianatra azy aza Aho. 34Ankoatra izany, dia nametrahany sampy tao amin’ny tempoly natokana ho Ahy ka nolotoiny#32.34 Naloton’ny sampy ny tempoly: jereo 7.30.. 35Nanorina toeram-panasinana an’i Bahala tao amin’ny lohasahan’i Hinôma#32.35 lohasahan’i Hinôma: jereo 7.31; 31.40 sy nta. izy mba hanolorany ho sorona ho an’i Môleka ireo zanany lahy sy zanany vavy, nefa zavatra tsy nandidiako azy akory izany sady tsy mba tonga tao am-poko velively. Natao izany zavatra maharikoriko izany mba hampanota ny vahoakan’i Joda.
36Ankehitriny anefa, na eo aza izany, Izaho TOMPO Andriamanitr’i Israely dia mbola manan-teny momba ity tanàna ity izay voalazanao sy voalazan’ny hafa hoe natolotra teo an-tanan’i Nebokadnetsara tamin’ny alalan’ny ady sy ny mosary ary ny areti-mandringana#32.36 Jereo 14.12 sy nta.. 37Indro ny mponin’ity tanàna ity fa hangoniko avy any amin’ny tany samihafa izay nanelezako azy tamin-katezerana sy fahasosorana ary fahavinirana lehibe, ka hamponeniko indray amin’ity toerana ity ary hataoko miaina am-pilaminana eo. 38Dia ho vahoakako indray izy, ary Izaho ho Andriamaniny. 39Hataoko iray fo sy iray hevitra izy mba hanaja Ahy hatrany hatrany, hahasoa azy sy ny taranany mandimby azy. 40Hanao fanekempihavanana mandrakizay aminy Aho ka tsy hampitsahatra ny fanasoavako azy, ary hataoko ao am-pony ny fanajana Ahy mba tsy hialany amiko intsony. 41Hahafaly Ahy ny hanasoa azy, ka amin’ny foko sy fanahiko manontolo no hampiorenako azy tanteraka amin’ity tany ity.
42Izao ihany koa no lazaiko: Izaho TOMPO no nahatonga izao loza lehibe rehetra manjo ny vahoakan’i Joda izao. Ary mbola Izaho ihany no hahatonga eo aminy ny soa rehetra izay efa nampanantenaiko azy. 43Hisy fividianana saha indray eto amin’ity tany ity izay lazainao hoe lao tsy misy olona na biby fiompy intsony fa efa natolotra an’i Nebokadnetsara. 44Eny, ao amin’ny faritanin’i Benjamîna sy ao amin’ny manodidina an’i Jerosalema, any amin’ny tanànan’i Joda ary koa any amin’ny tanàna any an-tendrombohitra sy any amin’ny lemak’i Sefelà ary any Negeba#32.44 tendrombohitra na tany ambony: dia faritany afovoan’i Palestinina. –Negeba: dia faritany saiky ngazana amin’ny ankapobeny any amin’ny tendrony atsimon’i Israely., dia hisy fividianana saha indray; hosoratana ny fanekem-pivarotana ka hasiana tombokase ary hiantsoana vavolombelona, satria haveriko amin’ny laoniny. Teny hentitra avy amiko TOMPO izany.
