Jeremiah 26
26
CHAPTER 26
1In the beginning of the realm of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word was made of the Lord, and said,
2The Lord said these things, Stand thou in the foreyard of the house of the Lord, and thou shalt speak to all the cities of Judah, from which they come for to worship in the house of the Lord, all the words which I command to thee, that thou speak to them; do not thou withdraw a word;
3if peradventure they hear, and be converted, each man from his evil way, and it repent me of the evil, which I thought to do to them, for the malices of their studies.
4And thou shalt say to them, The Lord saith these things, If ye hear not me, that ye go in my law which I gave to you,
5that ye hear the words of my servants, prophets, which I rising by night, and dressing, sent to you, and ye heard not;
6I shall give this house as Shiloh, and I shall give this city into cursing to all folks of earth.
7And the priests, and prophets, and all the people heard Jeremy speaking these words in the house of the Lord.
8And when Jeremy had [ful] filled speaking all things, which the Lord had commanded to him, that he should speak to all the people, the priests, and [the] prophets, and all the people took him, and said, Die he by death;
9why prophesied he in the name of the Lord, and said, This house shall be as Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, for no dweller there is? And all the people was gathered together against Jeremy, in the house of the Lord.
10And the princes of Judah heard all these words; and they ascended [or went up] from the king’s house into the house of the Lord, and sat in the entering [or the entry] of the new gate of the house of the Lord.
11And the priests and [the] prophets spake to the princes, and to all the people, and said, Doom of death is to this man, for he prophesied against this city, as ye heard with your ears.
12And Jeremy said to all the princes, and to all the people, saying, The Lord sent me, that I should prophesy to this house, and to this city, all the words which ye heard.
13Now therefore make ye good your ways, and your studies, and hear ye the voice of your Lord God; and it shall repent the Lord of the evil which he spake against you.
14Lo! forsooth I am in your hands; do ye to me, as it is good and rightful [or right] before your eyes.
15Nevertheless know ye, and [well] know, that if ye slay me, ye shall betray innocent blood against yourselves, and against this city, and the dwellers thereof; for in truth the Lord sent me to you, that I should speak in your ears all these words.
16And the princes and all the people said to the priests and prophets, Doom of death is not to this man; for he spake to us in the name of our Lord God.
17Therefore men of the elder men of the land rose up, and said to all the company of the people, and spake,
18Micah of Moresheth was a prophet in the days of Hezekiah, king of Judah; and he said to all the people of Judah, saying, The Lord of hosts saith these things, Zion shall be eared as a field, and Jerusalem shall be into an heap of stones, and the hill of the house of the Lord shall be into high things of woods.
19Whether Hezekiah, king of Judah, and all Judah condemned him by death? Whether they dreaded not the Lord, and besought the face of the Lord? and it repented the Lord of the evil which he spake against them. Therefore do we not great evil against our souls.
20Also Urijah, the son of Shemaiah, of Kiriathjearim, was a man prophesying in the name of the Lord; and he prophesied against this city, and against this land, by all the words of Jeremy.
21And king Jehoiakim, and all the mighty men, and princes of them, heard these words; and the king sought to slay him; and Urijah heard, and dreaded, and he fled, and entered into Egypt.
22And king Jehoiakim sent men into Egypt, Elnathan, the son of Achbor, and men with him, into Egypt;
23and they led Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him to king Jehoiakim; and the king killed him with sword, and casted forth his carrion in the sepulchres of the common people unnoble.
24Therefore the hand of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, was with Jeremy, that he was not betaken into the hands of the people, and that it killed not him.

Jeremià 26
26
Norahonana ho faty i Jeremià
1Vao niandoha ny fanjakan’i Jôiakima, zanakalahin’i Josià sady mpanjakan’i Joda#26.1 Jereo 22.13 sy nta., dia nisy teny avy amin’ny TOMPO tonga tamin’i Jeremià nanao hoe: 2«Izao no voalazan’ny TOMPO: mijoroa eo an-kianjan’ny tranoko ianao ary mitenena amin’ny olona rehetra mponin’ireo tanànan’i Joda ka tonga hivavaka ao. Avereno aminy avokoa ny teny nasaiko hambaranao aminy, ka aza anesorana na kely aza. 3Angamba hihaino ihany izy, ka hiala amin’ny fitondrantena ratsy. Mihevitra ny hamely azy amin’ny loza Aho noho ny ratsy fanaony, nefa tsy hampihariko izany raha mihaino izy. 4Koa ambarao azy hoe: Izao no lazain’ny TOMPO: ‹Mihainoa Ahy ianareo ka araho ny lalàna izay nomeko anareo; 5ary mihainoa ny tenin’ireo mpaminany mpanompoko. Tsy nitsahatra naniraka azy#26.5 Jereo 7.25 sy nta. tatỳ aminareo Aho, nefa tsy nihaino azy ianareo. 6Fa raha tsy mihaino ianareo, dia horavako tahaka ny nandravako ilay tao Silao ity trano ity#26.6 Jereo Jos 18.1; Jer 7.1-15; Sal 78.60.; ary ny tanànan’i Jerosalema dia hataoko oha-panozonana any amin’ny firenena rehetra eran-tany.»›
7Ny mpisorona sy ny mpaminany ary ny vahoaka rehetra teo dia samy nahare an’i Jeremià nanambara ireo teny ireo tao an-tranon’ny TOMPO. 8Koa rehefa tapitra voalazan’i Jeremià ny teny rehetra izay nasain’ny TOMPO nambarany tamin’ny besinimaro teo, dia nosamborin’izy rehetra i Jeremià ka nataony hoe:
–Mendrika ho faty ianao. 9Ahoana no ahasahianao milaza amin’ny anaran’ny TOMPO fa horavana tahaka ny tao Silao ity trano ity, ary ho simba sady tsy hisy mponina ity tanàna ity?
Tamin’izay dia nitangorona hamely an’i Jeremià izay rehetra teo an-kianjan’ny tranon’ny TOMPO. 10Nony ren’ireo mpitondran’i Joda ny zava-nitranga, dia niakatra avy tao an-dapan’ny mpanjaka hankao an-tranon’ny TOMPO izy, ka nipetraka hitsara teo anoloan’ny vavahady vaovao amin’ny tranon’ny TOMPO. 11Dia hoy ireo mpisorona ama-mpaminany tamin’ny mpitondran’i Joda ary koa tamin’ny vahoaka rehetra teo:
–Mendrika ho faty io lehilahy io, satria naminany ny hamelezana ity tanàna ity izy, ary ny sofinareo mihitsy no efa nandre.
12Fa namaly ny mpitondra sy ny vahoaka rehetra teo i Jeremià ka nanao hoe:
–Ny TOMPO no naniraka ahy hanambara ny hamelezana ity trano ity sy ity tanàna ity araka izay efa renareo teo. 13Koa ankehitriny hatsarao ny fitondrantenanareo sy ny fomba fanaonareo; henoy izay lazain’ny TOMPO Andriamanitrareo, dia tsy hampiharin’ny TOMPO ilay loza efa nolazainy hamelezana anareo. 14Ary raha ny tenako dia indro eo am-pelatananareo; ka ataovy amiko izay heverinareo ho tsara sy mahitsy. 15Saingy izao, raha hamono ahy ho faty ianareo, dia fantaro fa mamono ny tsy manan-tsiny ka hibaby ny vokatr’izany ianareo sy ny mponina rehetra amin’ity tanàna ity; satria ny TOMPO tokoa no naniraka ahy hankatỳ aminareo hanambara ireo teny rehetra ireo mba ho renareo.
16Tamin’izay dia hoy ireo mpitondra sy ny vahoaka rehetra tamin’ny mpisorona sy ny mpaminany hoe:
–Tsy mendrika ho faty ity lehilahy ity fa tamin’ny anaran’ny TOMPO Andriamanitsika no nitenenany tamintsika.
17Nisy nitsangana aza ny loholona ka niteny tamin’ny vahoaka vory teo hoe:
18–Tamin’ny andron’i Hezekià mpanjakan’i Joda dia nisy mpaminany atao hoe Mikà avy any Môreseta. Niteny tamin’ny vahoaka rehetra tao Joda izy ka nanao hoe: Izao no lazain’ny TOMPOn’izao rehetra izao:
«Ho voatrongitrongy toy ny tanimboly i Tsiôna,
ho tonga korontam-bato i Jerosalema,
ary ho tonga havoana misy lobolobo
ny tendrombohitra misy ny tempoly#26.18 Jereo Mik 3.12..»
19Moa nampamono azy ho faty va i Hezekià mpanjaka sy ny vahoaka rehetra tao Joda? Tsia, fa nanaja ny TOMPO izy ary niezaka hampitony azy. Koa tsy nampiharin’ny TOMPO ilay loza efa nolazainy hamelezana azy. Fa isika kosa hampidi-doza lehibe ho an’ny tenantsika, raha manameloka ho faty io lehilahy io.
Nasain’i Jôiakima novonoina i Orià mpaminany
20Nisy mpaminany iray hafa koa niteny tamin’ny anaran’ny TOMPO, dia i Orià zanakalahin’i Semahià sady avy any Kiriata-Jeharima. Nanambara ny hamelezana an’i Jerosalema sy ny tanin’i Joda koa izy tahaka ny hafatra rehetra efa nataon’i Jeremià. 21Fa raha nandre ny tenin’i Orià i Jôiakima mpanjaka sy ireo mpiambina azy ary ny mpitondra rehetra, dia nitady hahafaty azy. Ren’i Orià izany, dia natahotra izy ka nandositra tany Ejipta. 22Fa i Jôiakima mpanjaka naniraka an’i Elnatàna zanakalahin’i Akbôra mbamin’ny lehilahy vitsivitsy hankany Ejipta. 23Koa nalain’ireo avy any Ejipta i Orià ary nentiny teo amin’i Jôiakima mpanjaka. Dia nasainy novonoina izy ary nariany tao amin’ny fasam-bahoaka ny fatiny.
24Fa i Jeremià kosa narovan’i Ahikama zanakalahin’i Safàna ka tsy nisy sahy nanolotra azy ho eo an-tanan’ny vahoaka mba hovonoina ho faty.
