Jesus began to teach them: “What happiness comes to you when you feel your spiritual poverty! For yours is the realm of heaven’s kingdom. “What delight comes to you when you wait upon the Lord! For you will find what you long for. “What blessing comes to you when gentleness lives in you! For you will inherit the earth. “How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be satisfied. “How blessed you are when you demonstrate tender mercy! For tender mercy will be demonstrated to you. “What bliss you experience when your heart is pure! For then your eyes will open to see more and more of God. “How joyful you are when you make peace! For then you will be recognized as a true child of God. “How enriched you are when persecuted for doing what is right! For then you experience the realm of heaven’s kingdom.

I would like to share a thought with you that is fundamental to our lives. It’s from Psalm 1: “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” This verse teaches us about the Christian life, about what it shouldn’t be. But what should it be?
Grieving is not weakness. It’s a necessary step on the road to healing. In this study, you will explore God's Word and reflect on what grieving is, healthy grieving, and when grieving is difficult. This study is part 3 of the Never Alone: Trauma Healing series. While written for the military community, the themes apply to anyone who has experienced intense trials and wants to heal.
This plan will take you on a Biblical journey exploring the truth about Jesus being Perfect!
While the Church may be the Bride of Christ, nevertheless, it is still made up of sinful, imperfect people. That means that hurt and pain are inevitable, even from the best of these. But sometimes, the Enemy uses God’s people to spiritually abuse one another. It grieves the heart of the Lord, and yet, He still believes in His bride. Join us on a 3-day journey through Matthew as we discuss where Jesus is when the church really hurts. Written by: Kenzie McCarter
