The King Is Holy
1The Lord reigns! Let the peoples tremble.
He is enthroned between the cherubim.#Ex 25:22; 1Sm 4:4; Ezk 11:22
Let the earth quake.#Ps 33:8
2The Lord is great in Zion;
he is exalted above all the peoples.#Ps 48:1; 113:4
3Let them praise your great
and awe-inspiring name.#Ps 111:9
He is holy.#Is 6:3
4The mighty King loves justice.
You have established fairness;
you have administered justice
and righteousness in Jacob.#Ps 33:5; 103:6; Jr 23:5
5Exalt the Lord our God;
bow in worship at his footstool.#Ps 132:7
He is holy.#Is 6:3
6Moses and Aaron were among his priests;#Ex 24:6–8; Lv 8:1–30
Samuel also was among those calling on his name.
They called to the Lord and he answered them.#1Sm 12:18
7He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud;#Nm 12:5; 14:14; Dt 31:15–18
they kept his decrees and the statutes he gave them.
8 Lord our God, you answered them.
You were a forgiving God to them,#Ps 78:38; 103:3
but an avenger of their sinful actions.#Jr 46:28
9Exalt the Lord our God;
bow in worship at his holy mountain,
for the Lord our God is holy.#Ps 2:6; 48:1; Ezk 20:40

God the Supreme King

Ex 25.22
The LORD is king;
and the people tremble.
He is enthroned above the winged creatures
and the earth shakes.
2The LORD is mighty in Zion;
he is supreme over all the nations.
3Everyone will praise his great and majestic name.
Holy is he!
4Mighty king,#99.4 Probable text Mighty king; Hebrew The might of the king. you love what is right;
you have established justice in Israel;
you have brought righteousness and fairness.
5Praise the LORD our God;
worship before his throne!
Holy is he!
6Moses and Aaron were his priests,
and Samuel was one who prayed to him;
they called to the LORD, and he answered them.

He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
they obeyed the laws and commands that he gave them.
8O LORD, our God, you answered your people;
you showed them that you are a God who forgives,
even though you punished them for their sins.
9Praise the LORD our God,

The LORD our God is holy.
