Be Thankful
A psalm of thanksgiving.
1Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord!#Ps 66:1; 98:4
2Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.#Ps 95:1–2; 98:4–6
3Acknowledge that the Lord is God.
He made us, and we are his#100:3 Alt Hb tradition, some Hb mss, LXX, Syr, Vg read and not we ourselves#Dt 32:6; Ps 95:6—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.#Ps 79:13; 95:7
4Enter his gates with thanksgiving#Ps 119:90; 136:1; Lm 3:22–23
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.#Ps 75:1; 116:17
5For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever;
his faithfulness, through all generations.

A Hymn of Praise#Ps 100 Hebrew title: A psalm of thanksgiving.
1Sing to the LORD, all the world!
2Worship the LORD with joy;
come before him with happy songs!
3Acknowledge that the LORD is God.
He made us, and we belong to him;
we are his people, we are his flock.
4Enter the temple gates with thanksgiving,
go into its courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise him.
