Atos 11:1

More so than at any other time in history, it is easy to get a message to someone. We can pick up a phone, and a few taps later, someone can know where we are, see a picture of us, or know what we want for dinner! Only the most important messages stand the test of time.

In Acts we see the apostles criticized and persecuted from outside the church. But what happens when it comes from within? This 5-day plan continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.

Great leaders understand how to lead through change. Leaders are agents of change used by God to bring about His purposes in the world. As a Christian leader, how can you faithfully and successfully lead change? Explore how the leaders of the early Church led through radical change and how you can learn from their example.

In this six-day plan, we walk through Acts 8–12 and explore how God continues to build his church through unlikely people, unexpected circumstances, and faithful obedience. From the scattering of believers and the salvation of outsiders, to the dramatic conversion of Saul, the inclusion of the Gentiles, and the mystery of answered and unanswered prayer, these chapters show that God’s mission cannot be stopped. You’ll be invited to trust God’s purposes when life feels uncertain and grow in courage, humility, and faith as you follow Jesus wherever he leads.
