A Song of Ascents.
1Out of the depths have I cried unto You, O Lord. # Ps 42:7
2Lord, hear my voice!
Let Your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications! # 2Ch 6:40; Ne 1:6
3If you, Lord, should mark iniquities, # Job 10:14
O Lord, who could stand? # Ps 143:2
4But there is forgiveness with You, # Isa 55:7

5I wait for the Lord; my soul does wait,

6My soul waits for the Lord
more than those who watch for the morning;
