A Song of Ascents.
1Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, # Ps 112:1
who walks in His ways. # Ps 119:1
2For you shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you. # Ecc 8:12; Isa 3:10
3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine # Eze 19:10
within your house,
your children like olive plants # Ps 52:8
around your table.
4Behold, thus shall the man be blessed
who fears the Lord.
5The Lord bless you from Zion, # Ps 20:2; 134:3
and may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
6Indeed, may you see your children’s children. # Job 42:16
Peace be upon Israel! # Ps 125:5
