Then Jesus began to tell them that the Son of Man must suffer many terrible things and be rejected by the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but three days later he would rise from the dead. As he talked about this openly with his disciples, Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things. Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter. “Get away from me, Satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

Pursuing our spouse helps us keep getting to know, understand, and love them well. We’re all created with a desire to be deeply known and fully loved. Only God can fully fulfill this, yet as our most intimate human relationship, marriage is an opportunity to continue growing in intimacy and love throughout all our days together. This 3-day plan written by Lindsay Few brings encouragement to pursue your spouse well.

Everybody knows somebody who never grew up and while immaturity can me fun and silly at times, it gets old pretty quickly. God has a plan for us to move beyond the early stages of faith and into a mature faith that stands strong when trouble comes. Don't stay young in faith. Trust the process that leads to growth and become the person you already know you want to become.
Join Hillsong East Coast’s online experience and walk through this corresponding plan. This plan is based on Pastor Matt Bartgis's January 2021 message, "Year of Yes". Read through God’s Word within each devotional and reflect through guided questions for both individual consideration and group discussion. We pray it encourages you to reframe your reality.
“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves…be as shrewd as snakes…innocent as doves” Matthew 10:16. Culture is ever-changing, meaningful conversations can become more difficult as hostility increases. This plan will encourage you to learn from Jesus example as he engaged with the interested, only sought to intrigue the disinterested, and deflected the hostile. He both thrived and achieved his purpose on earth despite hostility, and so can we!
