Leviticus 25:1, 13

For millennia, God’s people have been carrying out a weekly Bible study plan. Every year, they read through the Torah from Genesis to Deuteronomy. In synagogue each week, they read and study a Bible passage—the weekly parshah. This plan presents a double reading, Behar-Bechukotai, from Leviticus 25:1–27:34. Behar means “On the Mount,” and Bechukotai means “By My Decrees.”

Justice is built into everything that exists. That’s why we have a sense of when it’s missing. Justice is not just a piece of God’s character—it’s a picture of it. When we seek justice, we pursue God’s best for everyone, so in this 7-day Plan, we’ll discover the origins of justice, the problem of injustice, our call to act, and God’s good plans to restore all things.

God is the Ultimate Communicator; He has the unique ability to communicate in ways that we best understand. Through my journey of strengthening my relationship with God, I have witnessed Him speak in many ways. Join me on this seven-day voyage, as we explore the Language of God.
