John 10:39-40

A person’s name is his or her first identifier. Have you noticed that a person, more often than not, takes on the characteristics of their name? We see this a lot in the Bible – but have you looked at your own name and its meaning? Plan 10 is the significance of Jesus calling Himself “I AM”. Do we take comfort in knowing Jesus is WHO He says He is?

We men like to go-it-alone. Don't ask for help, right? But here's the thing: we weren't made to do life alone. Stepping into relationship with other men not only strengthens your spirit but it can be a lifeline to the other men involved. It's been more than 2,000 years since Jesus made this promise. Jesus gave the church a simple job to do. It's called the Great Commission. So church, why hasn't Jesus COME back yet?
