I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar? Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

5 Days
This 5-day study examines the basics of spiritual warfare. Learn what demons can and cannot do, discern spiritual attacks, wield effective weapons, and walk in victory through Christ's authority. Strengthen your faith and navigate unseen battles with confidence.
This 5-day plan continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. Acts 19 brings us to Ephesus, where we see the way of Christ resisted by a spiritually confused world. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Or not? In this Plan, we will explore how our own will and imaginary strength often stand in the way of God’s power. “Each time He said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness’” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NLT).
The light and love of Jesus meet the world’s deep need—and we can participate in bringing his light to our communities and relationships. In these devotionals, pastor and former NFL player Derwin Gray encourages us to become everyday missionaries, offering good news to those around us.
