In the Old Testament, priests offered sacrifices morning and night, and the New Testament shows Jesus' followers continuing this by heading to the Temple for "afternoon prayers." Names vary by Christian tradition: Liturgy of the Hours, Divine Office, Daily Office, Horologion, etc. This plan compiles the psalms and canticles of each day, so that you can participate in this ancient tradition of God's people.
