Luke 8:4

This plan is designed to help you focus on your relationship with the Lord. Ask the Lord to search your heart as you explore Ephesians 1 and ask questions like the following: “Who am I?” “How do I see myself?” “Where do I find my identity?” “Who does God say I am?”

Spiritual growth doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of pursuing Jesus—little by little, day by day—until our perspective shifts and our lives center more fully on Him and His plans. In this 4-day plan, we’ll explore the question, “What does it look like to pursue spiritual maturity?” Together, we’ll let Scripture examine our hearts, challenge our habits, and help us grow fruit that lasts.

The Bible talks a lot about "growing" - learning more about Jesus, following him more closely, obeying him more naturally, and becoming more like him in our attitudes and actions. "Grow: Becoming More Like Jesus" includes verses about seeds, roots, plants, trees, and fruit, all great images for thinking about what it means to live for Jesus.

Perseverance is the sixth in a series of studies that help you establish a strong biblical foundation as a follower of Jesus. In this plan, we consider why some people give up following Jesus and explore how we can hold strongly on to Jesus and persevere in our commitment to Him, despite all that Satan throws against us.
