If you’re reading this, you’ve experienced fear. Fear exists in our everyday life. Fear lies. Fear steals. Fear kills. We have a choice every day to choose faith over fear. My intention is that this Bible plan will equip you with the courage to choose to be faith filled in fearful situations.

Many Christian parents endure the pain of having a prodigal child. Unfortunately, the trauma and grief of the parents of prodigals is rarely addressed in the church setting, leaving many to take this journey alone. God’s relentless love is the life-blood of his mission. This love was most remarkably displayed in the culmination of his grand salvation plan: sending his very own Son to live and minister on earth, finally dying a sinner’s death on the cross, that we might be redeemed by our faith in him and raised with him in his resurrection. Such perfect love demands a response—we love because God first loved us.

Gideon was appointed by God to deliver his people from enemies who plundered their land, but Gideon was full of doubt and fear. He did not consider himself a “mighty warrior” at all. Only by faith could he carry out his mission. Let his story encourage you to be a hero, too - not by your power, but by faith in a mighty God.
