Hebrews 2:5

This study, through the book of Hebrews, is designed to help believers in Christ Jesus live a victorious life of faith. It is called Faith Adventures because this study is derived from Chingtok Ishaku's book titled Faith Adventures.

While the Old Testament priest advocated for the people before God, he was still a sinner. Christ, on the other hand, is our sinless high priest who has nevertheless walked in our shoes, experienced our temptations, and felt an earned and complete sympathy for us. He is not only priest but sacrifice, purchasing our forgiveness; and not only does He forgive, but His Spirit transforms us. He is indeed a Great High Priest!

Many Christians feel the frustration of persistent sin, undesirable circumstances, and the stubborn feeling of having fallen behind. The doubts that arise from these experiences find their Gospel answer in Romans 8:1: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Remind yourself of the far-reaching implications of this radical promise for your life now and in eternity.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re in Christ and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to weird ideas and alternate beliefs about reality. This series of 5-day plans uses classic Christian Creeds as a vehicle to explain the Christian worldview compared to the world’s and help us see reality through Jesus’s eyes.
