And I saw the dead, the great and the small,* standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life,* and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades* gave up the dead that were in them, and they were judged, each one of them* according to their works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.*

Then I saw a great white throne and the One who sits on it, from whose presence earth and heaven* fled, and no place was found for them.

And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his imprisonment, and he will go out to lead astray the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for the war, whose number is like the sand of the sea.
