But He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be made well from your disease.”

And a woman was there who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years.* And she had suffered a great deal under many physicians, and had exhausted all her resources,* and in no way had been benefited, but instead had become worse.*

And immediately, the flow of blood ceased, and she felt in her body that she had been healed of her disease.

And holding the child’s hand, He said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise!” )

While He was still speaking, they came from the synagogue ruler’s house* saying, “Your daughter has died. Why disturb the Teacher any further?” But Jesus, disregarding what was said,* said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”

For He was saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” And He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he said to Him, “My name is Legion, because we are many.”
