“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. So, be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

The one who finds his life will lose it, and * the one who loses his life on account of Me will find it.

And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but instead be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

And whoever does not take his cross and follow Me is not fit for Me.
